Shanghai American School (SAS) is the largest international school in Shanghai, founded by the U.S. Consulate in 1912, discontinued in 1949 and reopened in 1980. Shanghai American School has two campuses in Pudong and Puxi. More than 4,000 students come from 44 countries and regions, including kindergarten, elementary school, junior high school, high school and so on.
