The factory in 1952 production department set up tobacco leaves, cigarettes, packaging and stack, repair department (after 1955 changed to one, two, three workshops, repair department changed to four workshops). In April 1961, an integrated workshop was added (with cigar smoke and plate smoke wire sections). In 1981, the phoenix brand cigarette workshop was added, and in 1987, a filter rod molding workshop was established. In September 1989, the Shanghai thrifty cinder brick factory (641 Longchang Road) plant, set up a comprehensive workshop, in July 1991, a new expansion smoke workshop.
