The National Stadium, commonly known as folding fan, as one of the three main venues of the Beijing Olympic Games, the construction of the National Stadium was officially started on May 28, 2005 and was completed and accepted at the end of November 2007. The project consists mainly of the main building of the stadium and a warm-up hall adjacent to it, as well as the corresponding outdoor environment. The total area of 6.87 hectares, the total construction area of 809,000 square meters, can accommodate 18,000 spectators.
